Sybil Gouchie, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200)
Director AM/PM Wellness & On The Mat Yoga

Sybil is a certified, experienced yoga teacher who has been practicing yoga since 1990 and teaching yoga throughout Central New York since 1996. She is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) and director of AM/PM Wellness Center. She has studied a variety of styles with a focus on Kripalu and practiced with many experienced Kripalu yoga teachers. Her teaching grew out of her desire to share her passion & experience of yoga with others.

"I am committed to sharing my passion and knowledge of yoga with you, encouraging wellness throughout the community, one person at a time."

I lead a full and busy life, working a full time job in the field of environmental science. I also have a husband, two teenage children, a dog, a cat, and my biological family including a 99 year old grandmother. My life experiences have made my interest in yoga and its expressions varied and diverse with special training and experience in prenatal, mom & baby, children's, family and yoga for seniors. I have also completed workshops in the SilverSneakers Fitness Program® for seniors and yoga for prevention of low back pain, yoga ball, and body sculpting.

Life has many stresses and is ever changing. Yoga has helped me through life's ups and downs and has given me a chance to know my true self. I was originally drawn to yoga for its ability to clear and calm my mind. My interest gradually turned to the physical conditioning of yoga and how yoga could make me stronger and more fit. I have a decade of experience in the health & fitness field. I hold certifications in group fitness, personal training, pilates, and indoor cycling. As life keeps going on, I have become more interested in the spiritual aspects of yoga, and focusing on the bigger picture of life to help foster a deep connection with self and the good inside and all around us. Yoga is for every body.  Whether you are young or older, fit or need to get fit, a regular yoga practice will improve your health and well being, making you feel good.  The saying "Life is good" can also be translated to "Yoga is good."

I would be honored to help you on your yoga journey.
Namaste (the light of consciousness in me honors the light of consciousness in you).

Rev. George J. Moore, RYT200
Director Sangha ~Coaching, Yoga, Reiki

In addition to being certified as an Infinite Light Yoga Teacher, I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, an Ordained Ministerial Counselor,  and a Reiki Master-Teacher

For me Yoga is a practice that creates an experience of the union of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. Although I didn’t learn the physical postures until I took my first yoga class at Onondaga Community College, my practice actually began in the fourth grade when I bought a book on meditation. After ten years of teaching myself meditation, I had my first experience of union with my spiritual body at the end of one of those OCC yoga classes. That hook has brought me back to the mat for more and more. My yoga teachers have included many traditions including Kundalini, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Kripalu and Infinite Light Yoga.  These influences combined with my amazing Infinite Light Yoga Teacher Training (taken with Tony Riposo) make it possible for me to teach all level yoga classes offering accessible options for beginning, challenged or returning students while providing room for exploration to more advanced practitioners.

I'm passionate about guiding people through a healing process that reconnects them with their True Self.

Sandy VanSkoik
Yoga, Pilates and PiYo Instructor

Sandy fell in love with yoga after taking her first class 8 years ago. Along with being a certified Yoga instructor, Sandy currently holds certifications in Group Fitness, Pilates & PiYo to mention a few. She is working towards her registration under Yoga Alliance, an internationally recognized organization. Sandy  fell in love with yoga every since she's been 1st introduced to it in 2002.  It became a part of her life as time went on.  Sandy began to take workshops and trainings in Yoga Fit.  This is a well rounded yoga for all levels and is focused on safety and alignment.  The more she learned, the more she felt she needed to share with people.  Sandy is still working on training in more levels of yoga fit and has pilates and pi/yo training as well.  Pi/Yo has added to the challenges of upper and lower body strengthening.  You combine the yoga with pilates core based poses to enhance the muscles in your body.  Everyone will get a great feeling of achievement from doing pi/yo.  Sandy has felt a great spiritual bond in doing yoga, pilates, and pi/yo so much so, that she has the passion to share with others. Sandy is glad to be sharing her talents with everyone she meets here.  Her dream is to teach yoga on the beach in Hawaii some day.
