Class Rates

$55 for 6 class punch card, can be used at ANY class within 60 days expiration period
$50 for 6 week session, must be used within the registered session only
$12 per class drop in 

Yoga of 12 Step Recovery - 90 minute class - This class is open to all A's (Anyone in a 12 Step Recovery Program) Begins w/ a 45 minute 12 Step Meeting followed by a 45 minute Recovery-themed Yoga class. This is a donation based class - Donations support the expenses of time & space.
 *A portion of your donation will also go directly to support Recovery in our local community

Class Formats
 
HATHA YOGA - all levels, Medium/High intensity,at Willow Health & Wellness Center (WHWC)
This is a Kripalu based class which teaches classic yoga postures with deep awareness of correct alignment. Each class will begin with centering on breath (pranayama) allowing you to turn inward and focus on the experience of the body and breath (meditation). Gentle warm-up stretches follow and move into a variety of yoga postures (asanas). The postures will challenge the body & mind through stretching, relaxing and breathing while holding the postures. Poses may be held for an extended period of time adding to the challenge for both body and mind. Postures and holding times will be tailored according to fitness level of the class.This practice helps train the  mind to be focused, alert and composed. Class ends with a lying out relaxation incorporating affirmations or guided relaxation. You will leave class feeling balanced, relaxed and energized. 

SIMPLY RESTORATIVE YOGA - all levels, Low intensity, at Willow Health & Wellness Center (WHWC)
This class is appropriate for ALL students seeking healing and rejuvenation. A very gentle, relaxing and meditative yoga practice, benefiting the bodies overall health and well-being. Class combines self-care techniques, simply supported poses, conscious breathing and meditation. Restorative yoga stretches and opens the body, improves posture, range of motion, and joint mobility. Reduces pain, muscle tension, and the effects of stress. Stimulates the immune system and helps balance the nervous system. Brings relief from fatigue and insomnia and prepares us for a full, restful night's sleep. Simply Restorative Yoga minimizes prop use for easy setup in class & at home- using A single type of prop - A blanket, block, bolsters, strap, chair OR the Wall.

YOGA BASICS & BEGINNERS  - beginners and practiced students, Low intensity, at WHWC
Welcome beginners and practiced students. This class will teach new students as well as supports practiced students in all elements of Pranayama (Conscious breathing), Warm-ups, Asana (Poses), Meditation and Relaxation.  With attention to alignment, anatomy, limitations and individuality, this is the class for YOU and YOUR BODY.  The teacher cues for proper alignment and anatomy with the benefits and contraindications for poses. Class will be mindful of student’s limitations and fitness level with modifications and options offered. Lead by an experienced teacher so you can see & be cued into a safe and effective practice. Practicing correctly is essential to bring our body, mind, and spirit into health & wellness.

YOGA of 12 STEP RECOVERY (Y12SR) - open to those seeking relief from addiction, at WHWC 
Whether you are working to overcome addiction or are impacted by the addictive behavior of others, Y12SR Meetings are for you. Weekly Y12SR meetings are open, inclusive groups that offer a model for sustainable relapse prevention. Modeled on the structure of 12-step meetings, Y12SR meetings include a group sharing circle followed by an intentional, themed yoga class hosted by a certified leader. They are open to all individuals who are working to overcome all manifestations of addiction – from behavioral addictions, to substance abuse – as well as those impacted by the addictive behavior of others. Meetings are donation-based, with all funds shared between the teacher, the host facility and a local nonprofit that supports addiction recovery. *This group is NOT meant to replace your 12 Step Recovery Meetings. Y12SR is offered as an ADJUNCT to help in RELAPSE PREVENTION. This class does not act as a detox or rehabilitation from active addiction. Must be 48 hours abstinent from drugs and alcohol to attend.

WALKING & YOGA at Beaver Lake Nature Center - all levels, Medium/High intensity
(Spring sessions- Apr, May, Jun  Fall sessions- Sept, Oct, NovLevel - All levels welcome - includes admission to Beaver Lake. Must pre-register by calling Beaver Lake at 638-2519. Come enjoy and connect with the wonders and beauty of nature. A complete body/mind/spirit experience. Consists of 30 minutes of walking and 60 minutes of complimentary yoga. Increases cardio fitness, helps with weight control, enhances core strength, and improves flexibility while relieving stress. It's a great class for complete fitness! Please bring sneakers, water & mat. Dress for the weather conditions in layers. Will walk rain or shine.

(Evening sessions- Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, Mar ) Level - All levels welcome - includes admission to Beaver Lake. Must pre-register by calling Beaver Lake at 638-2819. Come enjoy and connect with the wonders and beauty of nature in this tranquil setting. A complete body/mind/spirit experience.
